App don't get closed properly, a popup error message is shown regularly even though the application is closed

can’t quite Everdo using command+Q
multiple error message boxes pop up.
When application is closed using cmd+Q the icon in the dock still shows the dot underneath.

Checkout v1.7.8. It seems to have resolved this issue.
