Recently I started a project and dumped a few thoughts into the notes field which quickly evolved to a checklist/todo list.
Then I used the convert to actions function. But instead of creating a list of actions each todo was created as new project.

I took a look and here’s why it probably happened.
“Convert to actions” behaves as you expected when you are performing the operation in the project that is currently open. When used from within the Projects list, convert to actions will create projects instead.
This behavior is accidental and definitely isn’t named correctly, so it will be changed.
