When pressing ESC in the tag field while editing an (already existing) item, the suggestion list simply vanishes. If this is done while creating a new item, the whole item is deleted without saving.
Not sure, if this classifies as a bug, but it at least is an inconsistency.
What do you think is the correct behavior?
I would say:
If the box of suggestions is open → Close the box
If the box of suggestions is closed → Close without saving
Ah I got it now. Turns out, this behavior is different when you create an item in a pop-up (I key) vs in the current list (N key).
