Input lost when switching lists while entering new item

I had a few situations where I lost input, because while I was entering a thought into the new item dialog, I needed to check something on another list. Intuitively I was expecting to find what I entered on returning to where I left, but of course my input was gone without warning.
Everdo should keep the input dialog with its content, although lists and views were changed,or at least warn the user that the input will be lost and offer to save the current input or to abandon it.

I think a warning is reasonable here. It’s consistent with the way the iOS app works.

Any plans for implementing this safety net.?

The task for this exists in the system, but not prioritized highly because of high effort.

good to know you have it on the radar.

this [Fixed] Escape key is too eager when creating tasks or projects is related.
