Is Everdo going to support reminders in the future? If yes, when?

Nirvana does not support reminders but that has been the whole reason I’ve hated Nirvana.
I’ve seen Everdo break from Nirvana on some good points already and I hope this will be one of them.
Notifications and reminders are a must have. I am shocked that they already do not exist .
I am shocked that Nirvana expects people to pay more than Todoist with less features.
What do I need a mobile app for if it doesn’t have timed reminders?

It scares me that this question was posted in March with no reply 
I also need reminders. I hate having to lean on another app for tasks that require reminders. This might be a deal-breaker, as its easier/cheaper to consolidate into one of those apps than manage tasks in multiple systems.

I guess time based tasks must be done before having notification.

When you implement reminders, please remember that
DUE DATES AND REMINDERS ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!!!
DO NOT MAKE REMINDERS DEPENDANT ON DUE DATES!!!
Your must be able to attach as many reminders as you want to any task .
Time must be snoozable and set an alarm.

I believe the easiest and the fastest way to add reminders functionality is by creating integration with google calendar. Everdo could automatically send a task information to the calendar with reminder parameters and then calendar app will do the reminder job. For me something like that would be completely enough.
Please allow us to use everdo without Google stuff
