Perhaps an issue for other platforms (seems to be a slight issue on Linux as well) but the application icon on Mac is problematic and does not follow the human interface guidelines. My dock is translucent so the background depends on what it has behind it, but here is how Everdo looks in my dock at the moment:
This is hard to see (even worse at normal scale). If I compare that to the icon on Android it has the check mark in a white circle so that it stands our on any background (other than white, I suppose).
The app icon should have a white circle or rounded rectangle around it.
