Looks like the change to how links work caused a bug
As a temporary work-around please enable “Shorten Links” in settings.
A fix is on the way.
An update has been rolled out to fix the links issue (version 1.5.8).

Delighted to see that linking to apps like Obsidian is now possible. Works nicely for me.
The focus is going to the top but the scroll position remains.
