Complete or delete a repeated task forever

Hi all,

Are there any specific steps I need to take in order to permanently complete or delete a repeated task?

Context: I have some repeated tasks in my list that I no longer need. However, despite trying various ways of deleting them permanently, some of those still keep popping up. This also holds for the example task titled “This is a repeated action”. Every now and then it pops up in my “next” list again despite having deleted the template multiple times already.

The repeating task template is kept inside the scheduled section. From there the new task is fired up when the repeat criteria triggeres. If you delete the task there it’s gone for ever and won’t bother you again.
