ESS Sync on Windows - Sign in failed

Hi all,

I’m testing ESS but I have a problem with the Windows Desktop version.

I configured two linux pcs and an iphone with no issues. But when I add my windows laptop I get the error “Sign in failed. Please check your email and password”. I checked to not use the forum credentials and it was working fine with “local” sync.

I searched in the forum and saw that in the past some symbols in the password could be causing this error, is it still an issue?

Finally I solved it by “ignoring SSL Errors”, logging in, and enabling it again… Not sure what could happen but it seems to work fine now

Is this a laptop with some corporate network set up? That would explain the problem. In the next release of the app, the setting you activated will no longer be necessary.

Yes, this is a corporate device that sure has some network setup.
