I can’t tell if it is a bug so I decided to place this in a more neutral category.
Since the last update, I observed that the app just after starts needs a few seconds to load all content. After the content is loaded all works smooth and fast.
Definitely it has nothing to do with the amount of data - which is pretty small.
Are you absolutely sure this began after updating to 1.3.8? That update only had minor changes. Could you measure the start up time on 1.3.8 vs an earlier version? Is this on Windows?
I hadn’t paid attention to this previously so I can’t guarantee that it started since the last version or earlier. sorry…

MacOS version definitely starts faster than Windows one.
