How is automatic order in focus determined?

When scheduled items appear in Focus, what’s the order by which they appear?

I tried rearranging projects in order to have some tasks automatically appear at the top of focus but that’s not it.

Maybe newer tasks appear first?

some facts about how ordering in Focus works:

  • the position of items in any other list does not affect where it will appear in Focus
  • newly scheduled/repeating items will appear at the the bottom of the focus list as soon as they become focused
  • the relative order of newly focused items is essentially random until you re-order then manually
  • there’s no way to make a scheduled item appear at the top of the focus list

Works for me. In the morning I just put things in the order that makes sense to me.

Still tremendously enjoying working with the program!
