How scheduled tasks triggering works (long delay before creation of repeated actions)

When I open the Everdo app on iOS for the first time each day the scheduled tasks for today usually take a while to trigger, as if Everdo needed some time to realize of the change of day.
Is there any trick to manually force the app to perform this date check faster?

If it makes a difference, I’m using local network sync and the server (my PC) is always unavailable in the morning when I’m reviewing my day from my iPad.

The delay happens in order to let sync run at least once before processing scheduled items. It’s important that sync runs before scheduling runs in order to not overwrite any changes that have already been made to the repeated items which were possibly created on other devices.
There is already a ticket to optimize the delay and make it as short as possible.

Ok, thanks for the info Andrei
