How to bulk delete tasks

I didn’t use Everdo for a couple of years after setting it up, and now find myself with a few thousand recurring task clones that take ages to clean up (I can manage about 5 per minute, so this will probably take me a few hours)

Would you have any suggestions on how to get rid of these tasks more quickly please?

On the windows desktop there are several ways to do this faster.
Select several items by ctrl+clicking /shift+clicking
Then you can drag and drop to the trash or press X on the keyboard to delete the selected items.
