Thanks, Andrei. I’ll try the new version when it comes out. Is the upgrade path from inside the program (on macos)? Or via download from the webpage? Can I manage installation and upgrades from brew cask?
To download, please click the upgrade button (which appears next to the settings button when there’s an update available). If the button is not there, you can also download directly from https://everdo.net
When it comes to Homebrew cask, it’s not available yet, but we’re going to create a custom tap for Everdo soon.
Thanks, Andrei.
I upgraded by simple download.
Brew support would be great. Any reason why you want a custom tap instead of just adding the cask to mainline brew? The lowest friction way for trying everdo would be just typing this directly into vanilla brew: brew install --cask everdo
It’s been mentioned before but I’ll bring it up because it’s related: Though it’s possible to convert the current item into a project via inline command, there is no way to specify which project an item belongs to with inline command. I would really like to see this added to the inline command options!
This a great suggestion. There’s is a backlog item for reworking the editor completely to make it 100% keyboard driven and make all edits accessible via commands. Selecting a project would be covered in there.
