Can the desktop client be integrated with Linux repositories at some point so that updates are automatically applied? For example on Debian / Ubuntu creating a ppa that user’s can add to their system so that updates are applied via sudo apt dist-upgrade

For Ubuntu you can use the official snap package right now. Install Everdo for Linux using the Snap Store | Snapcraft
Tried it out today and it is installed and working well. I tried through the Ubuntu Software Store but the install would fail with a generic error after 14%. This is likely an error with the Ubuntu Store and not everdo. On the snapcraft.io site, the is a terminal command line below which installed correctly in seconds.
sudo snap install everdo
