I use a French keyboard layout (bépo) that is very useful for my musculoskeletal disorders.
The problem with this layout with the Vim-like shortcuts is the inconsistent layout of J and K (reversed as well. J is on top but it’s the down function). The arrows are far away 
(bottom right).
Would it be possible to configure the up/down keys with the ones of your choice (excluding the already used keys of course)?
I think this is also valid for those who use keyboards in other languages or ergonomic keyboards.
