Send to Everdo extension in Firefox error

Hi,

I just started using Everdo. I use Firefox as my browser and do not want to use Chrome any longer.

I installed the Send to Evernote extension in Firefox, but when I try to use it I get “Connection Failed. Could not connect to Everdo. Make sure the app is running.” The app is running. It’s not 100% essential that I use this but it would be nice. Is this extension no longer supported or is there a way I can get it working?

Hello Cheryl,

The extension is supported and should work, but it’s hard for me to tell why it doesn’t work for you, since it’s all local on your computer and I have no visibility there.

A few ideas:

  • Everdo has to be running on the same computer for the extension to work
  • Everdo version needs to be at least 1.11.9
  • When you install the extension, you must give it permissions that it requires to connect to the app

I would try to reinstall the extension to make sure it has the right permissions

I’ve tried reinstalling it a couple of times but tried again and got the same result. Permissions are enabled. My version is 1.11.15 (Pro). Everdo is running (yes, on the same computer).
