I would like to suggest to add a spell checking functionality. I believe there is an open-source solution with dictionaries for most common languages.
In iOS, we have build-in functionality of spell checking.

On mobile these things are native, so they don’t require any effort to implement. I’ll see how hard it is to have a proper implementation in the desktop app.
