"Update Template" may not be working

I have a task spawned into the Focus list from a scheduled task. I update the Time field on the spawned task, then select “Update Template”. My best understanding is that the parent scheduled item would then have the Time field updated. It does not.

Is this a bug or does the feature work differently?

Environment: Everdo 1.7.7 on Linux Mint 20.3

You are right. I don’t know why time and energy are not being copied. Seems easy to fix in the next update.

Honestly, it’s such a small thing that if you never got to it, it would be fine. There’s a workaround that isn’t very onerous.
